Well, it's been a great week so far here at Gorgeous Fabrics. The kids are back at school, Spring is starting to show itself in Boston (though this week, you can't really tell from the temperatures). One Year Anniversary Sale at Gorgeous Fabrics!

Hello everyone!

Earlier this week I looked at the calendar and realized that it has been almost one year since I started Gorgeous Fabrics! On February 24, 2007, I put the announcement on my blog that Gorgeous Fabrics is up and running. Holy Schmattes, I can't believe it! During that year, we've had all sorts of adventures. From starting the site with a single fabric, to the home-grown site that my DH created, to the current site (thank you, Leslie!). We've had a couple of glitches that we worked through (no stupid hacker is going to keep us down!) and we've worked continuously to improve the site and our work in getting you the best fabrics at the greatest prices! Blowout Anniversary Sale at Gorgeous Fabrics!
From now until Sunday, March 2nd (which also happens to be DH's birthday), Almost Every Fabric is on sale at 24% off our regular prices!

Why 24%? Because we started on the 24th! It seemed like a nice symmetry. And you know how the saying goes: you can't cut down a symmetry. So start your engines, and grab the fabrics you want quickly, because at these prices we're sure to sell out of a lot of the most popular and many of the new fabrics early!

A Personal Note
I just want to say a very big thank you to all of you for your support and friendship over the last year. While I love what I do, and you all know I adore bolt diving to come up with great fabrics, the most meaningful part of this business has been getting to know you, my customers. I count many of you among my friends, and it has been a ball to talk or email to all of you. It's also been even better when I have been able to meet some of you face to face. So thanks again, have a great time shopping, and know that I am always looking for ever more fabulous fabrics!
