Exactly What is Gorgeous Fabrics?
We are an on-line vendor of the finest fabrics at fabulous prices! Gorgeous Fabrics is an on-line only store. We don't have a brick and mortar operation. But you can order swatches of almost any of our fabrics. See the section below on "Swatches" for how to do that.

Payment Methods
For US and US territory orders, we accept American Express, Mastercard, Visa, Discover and Paypal. For international orders, we accept Paypal payment only. You can use your credit card through Paypal, or if you have a Paypal account, you can use that directly.
Shipping
In most cases, we ship your fabric within two business days of your order. For US clients in the 48 contiguous states, shipping is by UPS Ground. Please allow 4-7 business days for delivery. If you wish to expedite shipping, please contact us for pricing.
For Hawaii, Alaska and APO addresses, shipping is by USPS priority mail. Normal domestic shipping is computed based on the amount purchased (of the non-sale prices):

Generally we don't put a receipt in your box. If you need one, you can print it out by clicking on the "My Account" Button at the top of the website. That will take you to a page where you can see your order history. Just click on the order you desire and print that out.
To our international customers,
All international shipments are sent by USPS Mail. Due to the recent increase in USPS rates, we have increased our shipping rates. See below for the shipping rates to Canada and other International destinations.

Whenever possible, fabrics ship in a USPS Flat Rate Box. If we can send it less expensively, we do. At the time of shipment we have the actual cost for shipping and handling. If the actual is less than the estimated, we refund the difference to your Paypal account. If the shipping costs more than the placeholder number, we invoice the difference prior to shipping. If you have a mail forwarder, we are happy to ship to that address, in which case Domestic US rates apply. International customers are responsible for any duties/taxes that may apply.
Please do not ask us to mark your fabrics as gifts or samples. It is illegal and we can all get in big trouble for it.
Alaska, Hawaii and International shipments are sent out twice weekly.
Receipts
Generally, we do not send packing slips or receipts with your order. You can print out or view your receipt by clicking on the "My Account" link at the top of the Gorgeous Fabrics site.
Returns
At Gorgeous Fabrics, we do our very best to describe fabrics accurately. Fabric is not returnable unless it arrives damaged or if we make a mistake and ship you the wrong fabric. This is how we keep our prices low. So please, choose your fabrics carefully. We do. We want you to be as happy with them as we are. Any issues must be brought to our attention within 30 days of ordering. After that time, we can not change or exchange, so please check your fabrics as soon as you receive them. No exchanges or refunds will be issued unless you contact us first.
Swatches
Swatches are available for most of our fabrics. To order a swatch, click on "Buy a Swatch" in the ordering box on the right side of the fabric page. Swatches are $1.50 each, which includes first class postage anywhere in the world. Occasionally we'll split up your swatch order. This happens when we want to ensure the swatch you receive is from the same dye lot as the fabric you may order. When we do this we will let you know.
Because of the nature of our business, we can't guarantee that a fabric will still be available before you receive your swatches. We cannot hold fabrics for any reason.
Privacy Policy
Our clients’ privacy is paramount to us. Gorgeous Fabrics never shares your information with ANYONE. We ask for your phone number in case there is a problem with your order, and for UPS deliveries. Other than that, we won’t call you and we won’t give out any of your personal information.
Sales and Sale Pricing
Sales are a natural part of the retail landscape. Sale prices can not be applied retroactively to previously sold merchandise, and we do not pre-discount for upcoming sales. Sale prices can not be extended beyond the sale dates. The only way to guarantee sale pricing is to place an order.
Occasionally we will run Flash Sales. Flash Sales last for a very limited amount of time (usually just a few hours). The fun thing about flash sales is that they pop up and then are gone in a flash! We send emails out a few hours in advance, but they're sneaky, so you have to keep an eye out. Missed one? Don't worry - there will probably be another!
Coupons
Occasionally we have coupons for organizations like ASG, ASDP and others. Check the Members' section of your organization to see if one is available to you. For new customers, we offer a NEW coupon. This is a one-time discount on non-sale items. You are welcome and encouraged to use it on your first order, but you can use it at any time on any full price fabrics.
Fabric Cuts
We cut whole yard increments only. It's one of the ways we keep our prices low. On the other hand, we try to cut generously and many of our customers tell us that they appreciate this trade off.
Fabric Colors
Colors on monitors can vary, and our color names give an indication of the shade, but they are not exact. Whenever possible, we try to give you the number of the Pantone color from the Pantone Shopping Guide (which you can order from several Ebay sellers). This is our approximation only, and for reference if you have the Shopping Guide. If you want to get an exact idea of color, we urge you to buy a swatch of your fabric.
Gorgeous Fabrics occasionally donates to select tax-exempt charitable and educational organizations. If you would like us to provide an in-kind donation to your organization, please contact us. You must provide proof of IRS 501(c)(3) status to be considered.
