About Gorgeous Fabrics 

Gorgeous Fabrics branched out of Gorgeous Things™ in 2007. Both companies were founded by Ann Steeves. Ann is a respected author, instructor, and designer.  In 2002, after a successful sales career in high technology, Ann struck out on her own and started Gorgeous Things as a full time business. Gorgeous Things produced custom clothing and accessories. Gorgeous Fabrics grew out of Gorgeous Things and out of Ann's love of fine fabrics, sewing, and sharing her love of sewing. Ann not only sells fabrics, she actually sews with the fabrics she sells, so when she makes a recommendation, it's from first hand expertise. She also teaches, writes and works to promote sewing skills. Ann is a contributing author to Threads Magazine, and a contributing editor to BeSewStylish.com, a weekly blog-zine published by Taunton Press.  Her professional affiliations include ASDP, the American Sewing Guild (ASG) and the Boston Design Lab, an incubator for emerging designers.
